In the Cafe

  • Our Terms of Entry outlined on our Booking Page details our most relevant Terms & Conditions and must be abided by first and foremost. Failure to do so may invalidate your booking and the company will accept no liability for this.
  • You are responsible for alerting our staff to any dietary requirements or allergies. If you do not make us aware of any allergies you may be placed at risk of exposure to foods that are unsuitable for your diet.
  • Bookings are final at point of purchase. No refunds are applicable under any circumstances other than store closure.
  • Our timed sessions have a strict start and end time. It is your responsibility to arrive ahead of your start time to allow for smooth entry. If you arrive late entry will not be possible and you will lose your session. If there is a delay with transport this would need to be taken up with the transport provider directly.
  • Our dogs are animals with their own behaviours. Our interaction is always supervised but by entering the cafe you are accepting that the behaviour of our dogs cannot be guaranteed and that close interaction cannot be guaranteed.
  • If feeling threatened or spooked our dogs may bark, snarl or lash out. As a small breed they are unlikely to cause lasting harm but by entering the cafe you are accepting that you are responsible for your own safety and will not hold the company or the individual dog responsible for any hurt or damage.
  • If you are found to be encouraging bad behaviours in our dogs or are behaving in a manner that causes distress to our dogs or staff you will be asked to moderate your behaviour. If you continue to behave in an unsuitable manner the management will have full entitlement to ask you to leave and you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Our House Rules must be followed in full at all times. It is your responsibility to make sure yourself and all party members are aware of the House Rules in advance of your visit and adhere to them throughout your visit.

  • We are using cookies on this website to provide statistics that help us give you the best experience of our site. You can contact us if you would like further information or switch them off if you prefer. However, by continuing to use the site without changing settings, you are agreeing to our use of cookies.
  • Online payments are processed using Opayo. No personal details are saved on the website. Personal details are held on our merchant account and booking system only, in a secure format in line with GDPR.
  • Your email address entered online will automatically be sent a reservation email upon completion and a reminder email ahead of your booking. This automated process serves only to provide details of your visit. None of your details are ever passed to any third parties and you will not receive further emails after your booking has passed.
  • The only eventually in which your email or phone number may be used is by the company directly if there arises any problems or issues with your booking. This is to ensure a smooth process for you and will never be used for marketing.
  • Wall content and images are copy right of the business directly or photographers consent for use has been sought. You will only see images of our own dogs on our site, no stock photos of dogs have been used and this applies to our social media content as well.

  • Our main review platforms are Google, Trip Advisor and Facebook. If looking for prior customer reviews these are the best platforms to search for us under.
  • If you enjoyed your time with us we greatly appreciate 5 star reviews on Google and Trip Advisor. These platforms help us grow our audience and seeing your comments lights up our day.
  • If your time with us was less than satisfactory we ask that you reach out to a member of staff during your stay so that we may be able to best assist you.
  • If you are unable to resolve an issue on the day please use our Contact Form on the website or email us directly at info@edinburghchihuahuacafe.co.uk. Please note disputes regarding our Terms of Entry and Terms & Conditions will fall as the customers responsibility to adhere to as these are non negotiable.
  • Any guests that are found to be rude, threatening, aggressive or acting in any manner that distresses a staff member or another customer will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. We are proud supporters of mental health and vulnerable individuals and prioritise making our space a safe haven. The police will always be contacted when necessary.
